Electrical Licensing in California
California electricians must be licensed through Contractors State License Board (CSLB). All electricians performing electrical work must hold the appropriate license classification for the type of work they perform.
License Types: C-10 Electrical Contractor Continuing Education: 32 hours per 4 years Reciprocity: California has reciprocal licensing agreements with Arizona. This allows licensed electricians from those states to work in California under certain conditions.
